Slider unlock reboots.

My droid 2 global like most has a problem with rebooting sometimes when using the slider unlock. Motorola wants me to send my phone in for repair, has anyone else sent their phones in for this issue, and was it resolved, or since my complaint was noted my Moto should I just wait for an update?
