Not sure if this has always been a myth or no longer necessary with newer batteries, but would it be beneficial to overall battery life of the Bionic to fully charge it before booting up for the first time? I've read a few battery-life tips in the past that recommend this for a brand new phone, but was hoping to get a better idea of what is best from you guys. :) Thanks!! :p Hope to get one in the morning.

You might just wanna charge that baby up if you plan on buying it in the AM and plan on using it all day :)

Recent tests have proven that this is pretty much a myth, although may have held true with first-gen lithium batteries.

Charging to max just gives the operating system the initial data it needs to supply you with a more accurate battery percentage.

As long as your charging port is a 5 volt port it doesnt matter.

Thanks, Im on the road all day and plan to get it during lunch. I would never be able to wait till I get off work to play with it and set it up.
