serious problem...help please

I have the DroiD Eris and have a message pop up from a "[email protected]" that is not an email or a message. It will NOT go away no matter what I do. So...what Can I do???

Probably a virus I'm sure and I am NOT opening it. And also, the notification sound keeps going off. SICK of it.

Could be a virus. Install an antivirus app. Could also be a push notification from some app you installed recently. Any "fishy" apps?

No fishy apps and haventy installed any lately.

Try the antivirus. Worse comes to worst you may have to factory reset.

It sounds like it may be Google Talk. Go into the Talk app and sign out. Also, while in there, go into menu->settings and turn off any notifications for friend requests, etc.
