Security Issue

I recently purchased my Droid Incredible not even a month ago & haven't had a single problem with it until now. I had pattern lock on it at first, but then got tired of it when I had to constantly trying to open my phone while driving and getting it wrong numerous times. I decided to turn it off and selected "none" to disable screen unlock security. Now the problem is that the pattern security lock still comes up when i turn on my phone, but you can move your finger in any random pattern and it unlocks the phone which is just annoying the heck out of me. Can anyone help?

Also, there's two blue lines that appear on the screen when apps with dark backgrounds are open. Has the screen bled out or something, should I exchange the phone for a new one since it hasn't been 30 days?
