I have my timeout set to a std 30 sec and it usually works fine that way. Some apps like the kindle keep it on for much longer as it should. My problem is some time, usually at night or in the morning, the timeout changes. It starts out a little short like maybe 15 or 20 seconds before timeout but it gets shorter and shorter after each try. 10 sec then 7 then 5 then about 1 sec. Barely enough time to unlock the screen and takes many tried to bet to the shutdown screen. But shutdown doesnt seem to help. Battery pull doesn't do it either. It may have something to do with charging but the time when it acts up it usually is when I normally charge anyway. Sometime in the morning it goes back to normal. The phone is fine otherwise. I'm sure its a setting or an interaction with an app or between apps. Maybe my alarm clock plus? Its happened a dozen times but is very inconsistent. Any ideas?
