Samsung May Wait Until April To Release The Galaxy S8

Mobile World Congress has been where Samsung has announced their Galaxy S series flagship devices for the past 3 years. It is looking like Samsung will be delaying the release until April. The reason for this is to give themselves more time to figure out why their batteries are exploding.

Sources had the following to say,

Executives are now looking to delay the announcement of the Galaxy S8 until after the Mobile World Congress trade show in late February next year, the people said. One of these people said the unveiling could come as late as April. That would mark a break from the past three years, when Samsung used the tech showcase in Barcelona to unveil its newest top-of-the-line Galaxy S smartphones.

The Galaxy S8 will be Samsung's one chance to rebound. They had better get this device right the first time. They have no room for error here.
