Here's a rumor we don't put much stock in, yet feel compelled to share. Supposedly, a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Active version will launch in November. Along with the usual "active" traits of water and dust resistance, it will supposedly contain a whopping 4,100 mAh battery.
Earlier in the year there were rumors that this exact size battery would show up in the vanilla Galaxy Note 5, but that obviously didn't pan out. While we don't think it is likely Samsung will make this move, it isn't unheard of either. They have surprised us before with "Active" versions of devices including different specs. In fact, they just recently did this with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, which released with a larger battery than the vanilla S6.
Hmmmm... maybe there is something to this rumor after all?
