    Is the fascinate phone a droid phone, I have heard it was and then someone said no it wasn't a droid, thanks

    The fascinate is a Verizon phone with the android operating system.

    The Droids are a specially promoted group of android phones from Verizon. The difference is basically in the marketing, with a few differences in reflected in the software (i.e. Bing instead of google, etc)

    There are multiple android phones now available through Verizon that are not branded Droids. See Fascinate, Continuum, Tab, LG Ally, Fathom, Motorola Citrus, Devour.

    The only Droids are, D1, D2, Dx, Dinc, Dpro, D2global. (and Droid Eris i guess...)
