Removing Gmail Account?

I have a Verizon Droid Incredible...I have 2 Gmail accounts on the phone...I want to remove one of the accounts that I no longer use. I can't see or know how to remove or delete a gmail account. I know how to do a regular email, no prob there. Need a bit of help with this one...thanx :icon_eek:

You should be able to go to settings>accounts>remove account. There should be a button that says remove account below the accounts that are linked to your phone

Got it, thanx guys! Had to do the "factory phone reset" as you said but it worked just fine. Gotta remember before you do this to back up your contacts list. I used my Verizon's backup program and worked flawless. dancedroid

Only if your gmail you're not using is the account that your removing. Gmail backs up all your contacts.

The only way to completely remove the acct is to do a factory reset.
