Ive been trying to get Remote Desktop Client to work on my Droid 2 and having a hard time. I went to what's my ip.com and found my IP address. In remote desktop client app, I entered the IP, my computer username with admin rights and password and try to connect.
Over 3G, the connection times out.
Over wifi, it says connection refused.
Ive made sure "allow users to connect remotely to this computer" is checked.
Ive never done any remote desktop before, only a general idea of how it works.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

If you have a home router you will have to configure your router for port forwarding for remote desktop. Most routers have the ports already defined and it is pretty easy to set it up.

Use a app called teamviewer, that's what I use. And it works. It's also free.

I actually ended up using LogMeIn. I created an account, got the app and it works great. Its a bit slow and resolution size is small over 3G, but is awesome over wifi.
Too bad I cant get my Droid 2 to turn on right now :'(
