Problems charging phone (Says charging but its not charging)

There is a hardware issue with the phone, where the charger plugs into. There is a loose part and Verizon is getting me a replacement. However, I am hoping to use this phone for the next few days before the new one is sent. If I put the charger in at a certain angle, it shows it as charging but the percentage that is charged has not increased in the last 2+ hours, as it has remained at 30%. It shows the green battery icon with the lightning bolt on the top of the phone as well as Charging 30% in the middle.

Any ideas?

I was using ATK but I have uninstalled it.

Odd, it now says 50%...not sure what the issue is.
