Problem with touch screen when playing games that require both thumbs.

Whenever I lift my right thumb off the screen when playing a game like Minecraft PE for example my character either stops moving or the screen barely responds and I can'tmake the charactermove or look around unless I go into the game menu. Any advice to fix that problem will be greatly appreciated.
