problem viewing mail in Outlook

I use my Droid X to access business email while I'm on the road; I can access the lite version of Outlook. Recently, I've found that while my inbox might show that I have '15' unread messages, the only ones that I can see populated on the screen are sometimes 2 or 3 days old. Refreshing or using the check messages tab don't work. I an view all the emails if I get online & check email w/ a computer (even when using the web app rather than connecting to my server)

I was hoping that someone here might help me to get bak to a point where I can actually use my email again
