Powermat for Droid!

Here is a bit more info about the Powermat from the CES show. It appear that you can buy the battery for your device and then you don't need the brick to run it:

I just picked up the Droid X version of the powermat. I agree I was a little turned off by the fact that My battery door is now not flush (that's how the design is.)

The side dongle takes a little getting used to, but ultimately my DX is now more flat and flush with the curvature of the camera and I just love that I can set my phone down at night rather than hunting for the cord and proper alignment thereof.

Ultimately I am the most bummed about not being able to use my car dock as much, but then again the side dongle comes completely out so provided you don't lose it, it may work with the dock, perhaps with the bezel inside the dock removed.
