Please help my wife

Her phone will not connect to anything for a while and is really slow. I do not know Android. Tried to help with on off but did not work. It is a razor max with 4.1.2

Has she recently installed any apps? Does she run any automatic tasking apps such as Tasker?

Maybe try an app called "Clean Master" and see if that helps speed things up.

Hopefully someone more familiar with the Razr Maxx can come in and help.

Best to recap what she's installed lately, if anything, as dezy mentioned. What do you mean it's not connecting to anything? Won't load anything? Did this just start happening? You can go into the settings >applications and swipe to running apps and see if anything is taking up a lot of memory.

Does it work better on WiFi? Is a cloud account backing up pictures / video?

Your phone may vary. Try Settings / Data Usage / scroll down to app data usage. Click on an app that doesn't need to run. Scroll down. Click on "Restrict background data". Continue with other apps that do not require cell connection. You will likely find the offending app.

Again, I'm using a Samsung S5. Your settings menu may vary.
