Google is just not the goto for a tablet line. At one time the nexus 7 was ideal, especially for reading, but now phones have larger displays I just do not see where Google fits in the tablet arena with their current OS.

Google may rule the phones but Microsoft is the quiet ruler of the tablets.

Looking at the pricing of the Pro 4 and Pro 3, maybe Google is looking to push the idea that the device is just as premium at half the price?

The problem is the software just is not capable. Maybe Google should look at a true chromebook/tablet hybrid.

I think it's a good first step, but agree with the rest of you. Not something I'm running out to buy. I like where they're going, but they're not there yet.

I know there were rumors that the Android team was working on support for "multi-window". Since this tablet launched, I've seen more of those rumors surface.

I really think they should've waited until they had that feature ready to go before releasing this device.
