picture messaging

i have the moto droid and i was wandering if there was a way how to make the messaging show it shows your contact picture and the persons your texting in your actual convorsation. kinda like the HTC HERO or HTC DROID

Handcent SMS allows this... can be found free on the market!

That I could not tell ya, I haven't used the stock sms app for about 4 months now.

does the handcent sms ever mess up anything. like not recieve mesages?

Handcent is great, just use that.

I have yet to have any problems with handcent. There are a variety of "themes" ya can use including the Hero,iPhone, and Handcent themes.
