PepsiCo China, the parent company that also operates Frito-Lay and Gatorade among other properties, is seemingly preparing to release an Android phone dubbed as the P1 under its soft drink brand’s name and will debut on Oct. 20 in Beijing, according to MobiPicker.
The P1 will allegedly have a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920×1080) display, MediaTek processor with 2GB of RAM, 13MP / 5MP cameras, 16GB of internal storage, and Lollipop. The battery providing energy for everything is 3000mAh. The best part about the P1? It is said to cost $205 in China. But don’t expect the Pepsi P1 to be available around the world; most of these peculiar devices tend to remain in Asia.
