Lenovo officially unveiled four smartphones. They announced one flagship model called the Vibe Z which is their first LTE smartphone. The other three devices are their mid-range and budget-friendly phones with fairly attractive off-contract prices. They are the Lenovo S650 ($229), S930 ($319) and A859 ($219).

Here's the specs on their new flagship, the Vibe Z:
    • Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad-core processor @ 2.2 GHz
    • Android 4.3 OS (Jelly Bean)
    • 5.5-in Full HD 1920×1080 IPS, 400 ppi “20/20 Vision display”
    • 2GB RAM
    • 16 GB internal storage
    • LTE, GSM/UMTS
    • 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0
    • 13 MP rear camera, f1.8 aperture lens
    • 5 MP front camera, 84° wide-angle shots
    • 3000 mAh, talk time up to 33 hours
    • “laser-etched, fabric-feel rear cover”
As you can see, they didn't skimp on the powerhouse specs, and even include a few new "buzzwords." Lenovo plans to try and bring their smartphones to additional markets later this year, but there is no specific word on that yet. For now, the Lenovo Vibe Z will hit the following retail markets at $549 starting in February: Indonesia, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and the Philippines. We will keep an eye out for any other markets in the future. For more info on the other devices, check out the full press release below,

    Hi,

It seems that Chinese manufacturers are going to expand the reach of their products all around the world, and they are trying to improve the quality of their products until a point where people could perceive their products as of good quality. It's also a bit ironic that nowadays many of the smartphones available in the market was produced in China, so at the end of the day many of us buys Chinese mobile devices.

    Regards
