Options for hung Droid Razr

Hi, first time poster here wading through all the information out there on a Razr stuck on 'dual core screen'. There is lots of info, but surprisingly not any on my specific question. I have determined I will have to do an external factory reset but I also know that Verizon says that will delete everything in my wife's phone. I would like to find a way to recover pictures taken by the phone before I reset it. Do I have options to recover data before I reset it? Thanks in advance for any help...

Does it have an sdcard? If so you can remove it and save from there, if they are saved on it.

Well do you mean an SD card you can plug in externally or storage you would have to open the phone for?

An internal SD card that slips into the phone. Did your wife have Google backup setup? If so her photos may be saved.
