No Date Tags or Picture Taken Recorded for RAZR Pictures?

I just connected my RAZR to the computer to pull a copy of all the images I've taken since picking up the phone in December. Very disappointed to find that it does not record the Date Taken as a tag in the pictures! It includes the date in the file name which is nice, but no tag. That sux. I use the Date Taken tag on my PC to manage the photos and now I will have to edit the Date Taken tag manually.

Does anyone know of a way to get the Date Taken tag set when taking the picture? Do other camera apps do this?
