We previously informed you about this cool Epic Unreal-Engine based game, Dungeon Defenders. The fantasy action game from Trendy Entertainment gets a new update to version 2.0, and with it comes a ton of new features and some minor bug fixes. Here's the list:
New Features:
* Chase Camera which allows for a true third-person, console-like experience
* GameSpy support for direct cross-platform iOS-Android game play.
* Performance Scaling Options
* New tutorial video, explaining the game in only a minute
* Familiars (pets) re-added into the game

New Content:
* Max item level raised to 15 and max character level raised to 70
* New item drop types
* New campaign level and challenge mission for high-level heroes
* Cross-platform leaderboards

Game Fixes:
* Eliminated low cap on speed stat. and changed some related calculations
* INSANE difficulty is much, much harder
* Rebalanced item drops to make super items harder to get
* Fixed levelling & item farming exploits
* Improved voice chat stability
* Eliminated many GameCenter & iOS related crashes
* Large performance boost due to media and code optimization
* Rebalanced item value ramp
* Replaced on-screen pause button with character button which allows for fast-healing
* Moved pause button into character sub-menu
* Lots of minor bug fixes, etc.
* Items now have a level requirement based on their quality
For you guys that tried it out based upon our recommendation, let us know what you think in the forums. For those that haven't tried it out yet, Trendy Entertainment is having 'celebratory' temporary sale of Dungeon Defenders for a nicely cheap $0.99, down from $2.99. Better snag it while it’s still aggressively priced on the Market.

for a dollar, even though it won't even boot on my original droid, it is worth having for future phones. :icon_ banana:

Droid X uses a faster version of the PowerVR SGX530 found in the OG Droid.

Galaxy S uses the SGX540; which is a much more powerful GPU.

The graphics chip is more important than the CPU for running the Unreal engine.

By the way, the difference in rendering power between the SGX530 and the SGX540 is VERY significant.

SGX530 = 7-14M triangles/second
SGX540 = 90M triangles/second

Agreed, I'm rather disappointed with it on my DroidX. It runs like garbage, but I will have it available for future phones.

I have an iPad from my work and loaded it on there. I may get a warning for this, but no, I didn't buy it a 2nd time for the iPad. I bought it once for my DX, took longer to download all the stuff for it then the return period is and am stuck with it. So ya, I 'located' it for the iPad and play it on there for now.
