New to Nexus. Need help unlocking/root

Hello folks,

New to the Galaxy Nexus world. Wanting to root this phone. I've checked before posting I'm Sure i overlooked the answer, but if someone can point me in the right direction on rooting the Nexus with 4.1.1 OS. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You looking to use ADB or oneclick method?

Easiest method is of course Wug's toolkit.

Currently used none. Would like to use Wugs if it's the fastest/easiest way. Could you please send a link to Wugs if possible.

Wug's toolkit is definitely the easiest way then. Head over to the Nexus Dev section and you should find the toolkit there.

Tired using Wugs and failed. For some odd reason when i connect the phone via USB and the software download began i kept getting a download error message
