I am a long time Blackberry:blackberry: user. I just picked up my Motorola Droid:motdroidhoriz: today. I like it already, although I suspect it will take some getting used to widgets and whatnot.
I will be here browsing applications (like figuring out what the hell to get and what not to) and absorbing some of the knowlege posted in threads.

Thank you.

:welcome:
there are a TON of ex-BB users here to aid your transition (sorry, I'm a WM convert myself) but the overall impression is that the majority of them are VERY HAPPY they came over.

Yes, welcome to the world of Droid. I'm one of those former BB crackberry addicts. Most recently had the Storm for a year. The only thing I miss is BBM. Welcome to DF!

Welcome to the forums Rev Po Jay....

The ex BB users are piling up in here quickly : )

The more time you spend getting to know what the Droid can do the more it grows on you.

In other words "you aint seen nuthin yet" : )

I hope you enjoy the forums. Welcome aboard

I'm happy I came over as well (former stormer), and generally speaking the phone is a lot more slick. I just hope you're not too attached to Facebook functionality, because it's nowhere near as solid as the BB app. That said, there are a lot of others that seem to make up for it!
