Needing Some Basic Rom Help

I just got me a droid x. I have it rooted via z4root. And also downloaded recovery bootstrap. Now im needing assistance where to go from here? I would like to put the rubix rom on my phone but also would like recommendations. Thanks

Give Liberty v1.5 a chance its very quick and highly customizable.

Well it depends on what your prefer, blur or blurless. Blur means close to stock while blurless refers to a vanillia aka AOSP rom. If you liked the way the stock droid x looks and feels, then I'd go with a blur rom. Rubix blurry, darkslide blur and Apex or good choices. Apex is great since it comes mostly AOSP but you can add as much blur as you like.

Most roms are AOSP and are all excellent roms.

I suggest trying several different roms. Each will perform differently on your phone. Make notes and then decide with one performs best of go with it.

Be careful whatever you do. I like Apex 1.4 on my DX. Also use titanium backup to restore your apps after a new ROM.

Any time you make a change to your phones OS make a backup. A solid backup can saver you hours of work and frustration.
