Need a way to view txt messages

I have a moto droid 1, and my screen is screwed. Phone wont unlock. I have a bunch of messages that I can't access. Is there a way I could read and respond to the messages through my pc? Keep in mind I cant install any apps to my phone cuz I can't unlock it.

U can use adb to install remote web desktop app on ur phone and launch it. Of course the phone more than likely needs to be connected to ur wireless to work properly. This is the only thing that I can thing of that might work
