Modified my car dock so the video camera on my phone still works when docked. Makes for some fun footage!

Two quick videos...a slow S-curve and a wide open run.

Interesting. Pretty cool, Now can you get gps to work and the video? Insurance companies would love this kind of evidence if you were hit or something. It would be undeniable for the other guy.

you cut off way too much, all i did was get a step drill and drill a hole the size of the camera and it works perfectly.

There's more than one way to skin a cat...
I didn't want a random hole, so I cut the tab off (which wasn't even touching/supporting the phone) so it just clears the camera.

I think I know that straight road... is it just east of Baylor? (graduated from there in '03).

Love the roar of the V8; what's it in?

Thanks, pretty cool. I have a couple of thoughts:

(1) Damn, I thought I was the only one who lived in a remote area!

(2) I haven't checked, but I'll bet there ISN'T an app yet that does time-lapse. Simple idea, huh?...take photos at the interval the user requests (e.g., once per 5 minutes) then compile into a video that chronicles a day-long road trip! I'm on it as soon as my App Inventor invitation comes.

It hit 140 in that clip...had more juice but ran out of road. I've been told these will do 165 if the road is long enough...but I have no intention of seeing.

I've been thinking of doing something very similar to this so I can shoot video with my camera while I'm out storm chasing. It would be a cool backup to my real cameras.
