Menu Button Unlocks Screen

When clicking the power button to come out of standby, you are presented with the lock screen. It allows you to slide down to unlock. What I also see is that if you hit the menu button, it takes it out of lock screen also. I hit it inadvertently and thats how I noticed it. My Droid did not do this and I am wondering if this can be turned off. Anyone?

I think that's a HTC thing, because the Droid Eris does that.

"lol".. and it doesn't do a whole bunch of things the Incredible can do, or as well as the Incredible..lol
So thanks for the useless answer. By the way, want my old moto droid? Its for sale on ebay.
