Managing notifications

I remember I used to be able to manage my notifications pretty similar to my blackberry. But this was many moons ago before I got into rooting and flashing roms.

I want to be able to change the led for hancent and k9 and give them 2 diffrent ringtones.

Ive been up and down settings for both and i can find either. I know i used to be able to do handcent but then after an update i cant seem to do it. Same for k9.

Any ideas?

In Handcent > Star in top right > Settings > Notification Settings > Notification Settings (again) > Notification Sound

In K-9 > More > Settings > Account Settings > New mail ringtone

I think that will do what you want.

In the account settings page for K9 you also get the option for LED color
Same with Handcent, under Notification Settings (the 2nd one)

Search around for some profile apps. None of them are quite like the BB but some of them get fairly close.
