Make Droid Dna battery last longer?

I would like to try and make my new droid Dna battery last a few hours longer. I have a battery saver app. But it doesn't do much. And ideas?

In my experience, battery saving apps caused more trouble than help.

If you want to extend your battery life, do things manually; turn off auto anything, change update intervals to longer or off, and keep your screen brightness as low as possible and also use wifi whenever possible.
