So, if the new Nexus is the same size, 5.5 inch, what would be the need to have a Nexus 6? I think if anything, it will be an updated version of the Nexus 5.
It's no different than going from a 4.7" Nexus 4 to a 5" Nexus 5. Screen size is only a small part of a device.

Nice case will be the way to go.. I'm not digging the stitching down the middle.. It would look so much better solid..

It doesn't look like the Moto X's leather back, and I think that's what they were going for.

Of course you're right, but my point was more pertaining to Google having two Nexus phones on sale at the same time with similar specs. The likelihood of this, seems low.

Yes, but look at the Xperia line or the past few Galaxy S's, not much change between each new version but both available. Who knows what Google will do, I'm personally hoping for it because I got these tiny hands.
