I learned that lesson the hard way. Haha! Funny thing is, notifications are turned on (I turned them off and back on again just to see if that would reset something) and I was getting them regularly prior to putting the phone in Ultra Power Saving mode the other day.

When I open Tapatalk through the main icon (and not the DF shortcut I created), the main screen shows me my current notifications (like your posts here just now), but the app's not notifying me outside of that.

Thinking I'll have to cave in and reset it. Really didn't wanna have to do so, but I like to keep up with you guys. Haha

I've only got a handful of forums setup, and They're all tied to my tapatalk id now, so that part will be easy, but yeah. I like the dark theme and probably won't even remember what other little settings I tweaked this time, but it's looking like that's the only real option I have.

What'll really suck is if I clear data and cache and start over and it still doesn't work and/or I set it up again just to have to uninstall and reinstall it. Working through it in my head now as I type, I think I'll reset, add my forums and make sure notifications are setup, then wait to tweak anything else until I know for sure that it's gonna work right.

Clearing cache & data did the trick! I'm getting notifications again.

Now, to switch back to dark mode. This light theme is too weird. Hurts my eyes.

And the battery. I actually forgot that it's in light mode by default until I installed it on the Note.
