Kickstand peeling

My thunderbolt kickstand is peeling. I don't understand why either. I have it in a full case all the time and it never touches anything. I never even use it.

Mine too....just like with the OG Droid the gold on the camera button peeled. What matters the most to me is that I haven't had any reboots or GPS problems so I can deal with the peeling kickstand.

i guess it is a pretty common problem. i am going to just peel/chip it off completely. hopefully the "with Google" logo is actually on the metal and not the pealing clear coat.

Agreed. I have no idea what is meant by "peeling".

It probably hat a protectivr coat and I could see that peeling if they did not clean the surface as good before applying the protective layer .

Yeah, whatever finishing touch they used on the kickstand is starting to peel. Glad to see I'm not along on this. I agree with others that this is definitely trivial.

I'm going to try doing this too. Hopefully I don't scratch it and make it more ugly looking

Glad I'm not the only one. Kind of upsetting though, mine started this within a few days of getting the device. HTC had to have known it would be an issue.
