Keyboard app broken. Can't unlock phone

It seems like the keyboard app that I got won't launch. And I do not know how to change it back to the default Samsung keyboard without unlocking the phone.

I'm also using the HighOnAndroid custom jellybean kernel

I have tried booting into safe mode, but I don't think it's working because of my full device encryption.

Any help or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

Also it should be noted that I can get the default keyboard when it the prompt to decrypt my device at boot appears. But I cannot get a keyboard when trying to unlock the device.

Did you try from settings/language and keyboard?

I managed to fix the problem. Luckily I'm rooted and have USB debugging on.

I just used adb to remove the problem apk. That restored me back to the samsung default keyboard, which worked perfectly.
