Is there a way to "Go Back" using the keypad?

My droid screen is acting crazy. The left side of the screen doesn't work at all. Therefore, my "back" button doesn't work. Is there a way that I can "go back" using the slide out keypad? I've done a lot of searching but couldn't find a solution. I'm trying to make my phone useable til the Nexus comes out. Not sure if I'll make it though! This thing is So Frustrating! Thanks for any help/suggestions. edit: Since the left side of the screen is unresponsive, I can't answer calls either. udate: I downloaded "call shaker" and now I am able to answer calls!
