The Android O/S is pretty much the same across the board, is there something you need help with ?

like i only have had my phone like 5 days and i love it but what is this root stuff i hear about and how do i get movies on it also and what are the best applications and how do you set mms and sms ringtones i have adevanced task killer/app killer, ring droid

Task Killers are not recomended as they use unecessary resources, and Rooting is basically taking complete control of your device, enabling you to do things that usually only the Software writers would be able to do

what about setting sms tones and how can i reset my phone without loosing my contacts and i also have a droid eris with a bad digitizer and suggested sites to order a replacement

To set sms and mms notification tones open your messaging app and go to settings/notifications
