Huawei has announced the official specs for its latest Mate 9 and it is a beast with some very top of the line specs. It's as big as an iPhone 7+, but has a larger screen thanks to the smaller bezel. Huawei claims it has the fastest mobile processor ever made thanks to a Kirin 960 SOC. It comes standard with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of space. Personally, I love that the Huawei base model has 64GB of internal memory. It supports dual sim cards and you can use the second sim slot for micro SD. The base model is going to be around $800 and may not come to the states.
I could fill a lot of space with a list of that phone's very high end specs (including a 4-in-1 auto-focus that can capture a picture from sleep to snap in .8 seconds, or the 4,000 mAh battery), but I don't want this to be 3 pages and I have to mention the pictured $1,550 Porsche Edition Mate 9. This will be a limited edition of 20,000 pieces and will be available in the US. Huawei has been working with Porsche for 3 years apparently on this 5.5 inch screen phone with curved sides (like an Edge) and 2K resolution. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back that you can use to navigate with taps and swipes, 6GB of RAM and 256GB internally. Maybe if I schmooze Huawei a bit, they'll send me a review model?!?
