The Huawei Nexus 6 is in the news again. This time, the new version phablet-style Nexus smartphone has been benchmarked, and shows very promising results. As you can see from the image above, a device called the Huawei Angler scored a maximum of 1188 in single-core tests and 4285 in multi-core tests. The "Angler" has been confirmed to be the internal codename for the Nexus 6.

These scores are quite a bit faster than the previous generation Nexus 6. What's interesting is that this is also faster than previous device benchmarks which used the same Snapdragon 810 CPU. This improvement is likely due to the 1.9GHz speed on this Snapdragon 810, as well as being paired with 3GB of RAM and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Either way, performance is looking good for the next big Nexus. Here's our dedicated Huawei Nexus 6 section for further discussion: Nexus 6 by Huawei | Android Forum at DroidForums.net
