HTC One Developer Edition to Get Android 4.3 Update in September; Skipping 4.2.2

    The folks at HTC have decided to skip Android 4.2.2 and go straight to Android 4.3 for the Developer Edition of the HTC One. The device will be receiving the update sometime in September, according to a Tweet from Jason Mackenzie, President for Global Sales at HTC. Mr. Mackenzie was replying to a tweet in which an owner of a Developer Edition HTC One complained that the Verizon HTC One would launch with Android 4.2.2 while owners of the Developer Edition HTC One were still using Android 4.1.2.

    Mr. Mackenzie made it clear that HTC felt Android 4.2.2 was simply a "minor update" and that 4.3 would arrive for the device sometime in September. Here's a pic above with the Tweet, and a source link below,
