How to call the hidden context menu button on the LG G3

LG G3 menu button – holding down the “Recent Apps Key” on the G3 will act as a menu button

From Home Screen, Just Press and hold the “Recent Apps Key”, You will see the following options:

1) Add apps & widgets allow you to add apps and widgets to the Home screen.

2) Home screen settings provides direct access to the phone’s Home screen settings menu.

3) Lock screen settings provides direct access to the phone’s lock screen settings menu.

4) System settings provides quick access to the phone’s Settings menu.

I've actually been shocked at how often I had to do this after getting the phone. Most of my apps do not have the menu 3 dot section with the G3, even though they did with the G2. I'm glad they added this, that's for sure.

Looks like LG is listening and making improvements quickly.

OMG thanks for this information. I was thinking that the lack of menu button was due to apps not being updated for Android 4.4.4.
