How do I save a destination using the navigation

I want to save my home address as a waypoint? in the car panel navigation?

I'm not quite sure what you're asking, but I will search locations on my PC in Google Maps and save to My Maps. Then anytime I want to pull it up on Maps, it's there for me to pull up in navigation.

I downloaded an app called My Maps Editor and added all the address's I needed to that. Then you can access those through layers. I believe its a Google made app as well.
