Homescreen Replacement - was using Home++

I've been using home++ on my droid since I got the thing 8 months ago. Of all the home screen managers I tried I like it the best..loved the shortcut bar at the bottom and the ability to hide/unhide the status bar and the flip date/clock widgets are awsome. Well the home++ project seems dead and ever since the froyo updates it runs terrible..so now I'm looking for a new one but really hate to leave home++ behind...what do you guys suggest that's out there that I might like coming from home++?
