HELP!!! Ribbon wire ripped....

I was replacing the cracked screen on my Droid 4 and the ribbon cable ripped. Techies, can this be fixed or replaced? Or am I SOL???? :blink:

I don't think the OP was looking to circumvent anything. I think he was looking for a way to repair it, maybe I'm wrong. To the OP, have you called a local cell phone repair shop? I know many of them are good at replacing cracked screens, but you could ask about your ribbon. If you go this route, it's possible they'll want to keep your phone for a day, so keep that in mind as far as personal data you have on your phone. Good luck.
