Help me sell my OG Droid

Hello all,

I plan to sell my Original Droid 1 (Motorola A855) but have a few questions on clearing data.

The phone has been deactivated for about a year, it is rooted, & the current ROM is some outdated version of Bugless Beast.

Two questions:

1: Can the "Phone Number - MIN #" displayed in the "About Phone - Device Status" section of the "Settings" Menu be deleted/modified? (the Phone Number/MIN # is my current phone number & i'd rather not sell the phone with that info on there)

2: Can this phone be "unlocked" so that a buyer could use it on a network other than Verizon?

I have already deleted the data & cache using Clockwork Recovery but the "Phone Number / MIN #" stays my phone #
