Help. I accidentally deleted the Traffic Widget

I no longer have it in Widgets, how do I restore?

Are you rooted? I don't think you can delete it without being rooted.... Did you maybe just hide it from the widgets drawer? Or does it maybe have something to do with the new maps update.... I'm not sure I've never used it.

I think it was eliminated in an update since Google Now has the traffic function built in.

I have to be honest, I'm not sure what "rooted" means. How do you unhide? My friend who has the same phone has the widget so I'm not sure if it has to do with an update.

My friend still has the widget on hers =( It's a lifesaver for me because I line in NJ and drive to NYC
