Help! Clockworkmod recovery on 2.2

Ok guys I have a real odd problem with my recovery when I try to back up/restore/install it says sd card is busy! For no reason it says block not mounted I did not have this problem in 2.1 I might just sbf back to 2.1 as a solution. Thanks for any help.

did you try to restart your phone? does it see your sd card when using astro or something familiar?

Yes the sd card works perfectly on the phone view pics backup with astro and titanium. Play music store stuff etc. Nothing wrong with it but it says its busy/not mounted in recovery. Also the recovery reads it for like 1 or two steps during installation it will say sd card busy. Or it will say that right from the beginning without any attempt to install

I had i simular issue with the bootloader. found out it was that I was using a outdated bootstrap. I purchased the one available in the market and that took care of my problems

try also flashing the recovery a few times as well
