13.5...

I'm half way through my month and have used 13.5 GB. All of my iPhone friends think I am crazy. Hey, the 4G is fast in my town, its on a popular highway just south of San Francisco and It seems like I am the only one who ever is using it; never dropping below 20 mb/ps

[Updated] Verizon Plans To Eliminate 'Grandfathered' 3G Unlimited Data Plans)

By everyone saying if u use more than 5 gigs a month u must be a moron or a criminal.... ? Nobody was helping me defend our right to use as much data as we need. our granddad is unlimited ( :) ) and we pay plenty of money for it. They were calling me all kinds of names and blaming me for the new data plans.

Exactly! I don't have wifi at home and on campus it's barely every a good 54mbps connection so I still gotta use 4g to keep a good connection if I'm streaming Netflix or crackle or sending/receiving large files. I agree with you completely

Hahahahahahahahahaha! Eat that Verizon. And I have never been throttled, had questions asked, warned, or anything else.

And the last time I went in to Verizon, they told me that when I upgrade (in 4 months) as long as I upgrade to another smart phone, that I would REMAIN GRANDFATHERED INTO UNLIMITED DATA. Sometimes going to the source works to clear up rumors. I know whooda thunk? :banghead:

Sent from my DROID2 OTA updated .621, non-rooted 2.3.4 :( R.I.P. root access

Verizon got rid of throttling and put in network optimization from my understanding. Not sure if its the same thing.. but they only "throttle" the top 5% of unlimited 3g users. I'm pretty sure they don't throttle 4g because of the bandwidth capabilities that a tower now has.
