Didn't the DroidX have a similar raised area for the camera ? Doesn't bother me, may even make it easier to know which way is up... I'm more worried about the CPU from reading... this one may have to gain some experience in the wild before I decide if it's "Next".

Yep DroidX and X2 had a camera bump.
Didn't bother me in the least.
I plan to get the 6P if it comes with 128GB or SD expansion.
Need that space.
