Handsfree won't connect

I apologize if this is covered in another thread, haven't found an answer yet. My Droid won't connect to ANY hands free devices. My wife and I both have bluetooth headsets that it won't find.

My hands free is old and I assumed that was the issue but when I tried finding my wife's, brand new Christmas day, the phone won't find it either. Defective phone? Am I just doing something stupid?

Any help would be appreciated.

I had no problem pairing my Moto Droid with a Motorola BT headset and a Jabra BT speaker.

Make sure your BT device is in pairing mode and set your Droid to search for BT devices. Enter 0000 or 1234 to try and pair with the device when the Droid finds it.

If your Droid isn't finding the devices, try turning your Droid off then on to reset it.
