Hello Droid Forums!
My name is Scott and I've been "lurking" around here for several months gathering as much intel as I could and trying to get to know my phone better.
I've been running a stock Droid 2 since launch and it's worked pretty well for me. But lately I've been feeling the need to see what root can do for me and have decided to take the plunge. My D2 is a lot like me. Lots of dings, scratches and a cracked screen, but hey it (and I) still work!
I'd like to send out my thanks to everyone that posts helpful information (especially the Rescue Squad as I *know* I'll be needing their help) and welcome any positive comments.
